Love that he's still playing! Also that he stood for his principles during the jab pressures.

Yep. Gotta give him credit for standing true. That was some intense heat to stare down!

Can we keep it to football and take the political BS somewhere else?

Lol. Exactly how clueless are you? Or are you an expert on immunology ? Are you an epidemiologist? Take your political bs elsewhere.

Oh what a beautiful morning….
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Interesting that your take on congratulating a man for his character is somehow received as political. A quick look through your post history, namely Dec '22, would provide necessary evidence to understand why you received such innocent warm regards for one of our most successful athletes as a political statement. I just see the world through different lenses. #ponyup

Remember, many (ahem ... including me) thought Beasley was too small to succeed even in college. The fact that he is getting ready for his 12th NFL season is absolutely unreal. Congrats to one of SMU's true overachievers.

Beasley, like Sanders, came to SMU with little expectation of the greatness they have put forth. Determination and hard work paid off for both. Loved watching them at SMU, and the NFL!

Not too many thought he would make it in D-I and remember he almost walked away from football in Cowboys rookie camp

It's truly odd that science or the denial of such is a reliable political indicator but hey at least the pride of Little Elm's science dept. is still playing and measles is making a comeback too. Modern times be wild like that.

I know I have told this story before: at pro day, Beasley measured just under 5-8 and tipped the scales at 172 pounds. When he headed toward the bench press, where he did almost as many reps on the NFL-standard 225 pounds (17) as tackle Kelvin Beachum (19) did, a scout asked out loud whose little brother was working out.

Can't remember which team the scout was from, but he was wearing blue — Chargers? Colts? Bills? Broncos?

I really wish I'd had a video camera on the faces of scouts as Beasley started moving that weight around. Several were floored.

Giants wear blue too. Good for Cole. Rooting for him except against Washington.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
