SMU quarterback Preston Stone met the media to discuss a number of topics, including the Mustangs' 2023 camp, the addition of new talent at running back, wide receiver and the offensive line, whether his 2022 injury impacts his decision to tuck the ball and take off running, and which teammate he identifies as "maybe the toughest, nastiest player on the team.”

SMU running back L.J. Johnson met the media to discuss his adjustment to the Mustangs, the differences in terminology from what he learned at Texas A&M and how the running backs balance their desire for more carries at a position with considerable depth.

I know Preston Stone has been THE DUDE on his team for years, and is used to being in the spotlight, but his intelligence and thoughtfulness make it easy to forget how young he is, and how much he still could improve.
