In an otherwise bleak special teams performance, Rogers shined, and has been named American Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Collin Rogers • So. • K • SMU
Rogers scored 12 points, making three of his four field goal attempts and adding three PATs to help SMU to a 36-31 win at Rice, keeping the Mustangs unbeaten in American Athletic Conference play. Rogers first connected from 41 and 37 yards and delivered a clutch 51-yard field goal with 2:49 left in the fourth quarter to give the Mustangs a five-point lead.
