I've been to Davidson and UNC. Davidson is beautiful, and Chapel Hill is gorgeous (I've never been to Notre Dame). But I agree with Coach Doherty - in terms of sheer campus beauty, SMU has them both beat.

ND's campus has nothing on SMU - except maybe more public intoxication on gamedays.

I don't know Rice and ND are pretty close in that department and then there are still a few women's colleges out there. Of course as Richard Pryor used say, you don't get lucky with the prom queen but with her 300 lb. sister."

I think "fanna" was a play on spelling. You know... fanna... fanny.... well, you know.

oops! Spelling was wrong. Too many drinks late at night up here in New York. Combined with my declining eyesight and midget lettering makes it tough to notice misspells!

I was at a dinner party recently and some tofu eating Texas Tech fans thought their campus is the prettiest in Texas...giddy they were. Young pups in their late 20s who seem to want to latch onto the Dallas social set. The guy was excited that HP grads are now starting to go to Tech. Anyway, I digress, but I said that Tech -- while pretty nice with its coordinated rooftops -- isn't as nice as SMU. Rice has some nice architecture as well...great drive up, and I always enjoy the wide open spaces at UH and its sculpture.
