Rhett Lashlee

Postby PonyME » Sat Oct 05, 2024 6:49 pm

After we seemed to be wilting in the second half and Rogers missed that FG…Rhett was on the sidelines clapping and saying ‘good job, good job team’. That’s a leader. He’s so even keeled. I do question the second week in a row fashion choice of these short sleeved shirts with hoods though…no Rhett, no.

Folks on here wanted to run Rhett off early. He’s proving why he’s the coach and we’re fans.

Looks like we need to do whatever it takes to keep Rhett here for the long haul.

It's like Rhett said after FSU. That win @ Louisville won't gain us one yard or score one point against Stanford. We are living in a "what have you done for me lately?" world and far too many on this board will turn on Rhett in a heartbeat if we lose a game we might now expect to win. I called 7-5 this year and that was with going 4-4 in ACC play. I hope this team proves me wrong and at this point it certainly appears they will (I expected we would be 3-3 right now) but there is a lot of football still to be played. Stay healthy guys!

Yup, I think he knows he’s now with the big boys, and shouldn’t go for 4th and 2 inside our 50. Also takes his field goals when in range likeHayden Fry did. Maybe learned from the BYU game.
May the forth be with us.
