congrats Dirk. I'm not saying he saved his career tonight, but he sure helped it. That horrible fade away shot against Bowen in the last minute would have had him labeled by everybody as soft and a choker. The drive to bucket and finish changed that completely. Fair or unfair, those plays define you. Finley was on the other end of irony. He made the big clutch shot with 1:45 left like he has all series and then he misses two giant shots at the end. Give him credit, he shook hands and congratulated the Mavericks like a man. What a series, had to be one of the best of all time. How big was Diop in the last few minutes? Maybe that will rub off on Bamba assuming he can get his books in order.

simply an amazing win...the fist half was great, but I knew the Spurs would have their run...it jsut seemed like they would win, and when Ginobili hit the 3 with about 30 seconds left, it absolutely deflated me...but Dirk's drive is what champions are made of...we were very fortunate to win this one, but we still have a lot of work to do

How life-threatening is the braincramp that made Ginobli foul Nowitzki when Dirk was going for a layup while the Mavs trailed by 3? At that point, Ginobli and the rest of the Spurs should have left the arena, if need be, to make sure there was no foul called. One of the dumbest mistakes I've seen in years.

That was the greatest basketball series I have ever witnessed. Or, at the very least, it was the greatest series - involving the Mavs - that I have witnessed.

Krakatoa! The Mavs are good.

Check out the Tim Duncan quote: "This was a great series. This was the best series I've ever played in, to be honest."
