Not enough has been made of the performance of the secondary Saturday against Kansas. KU's QB isn't the greatest passer in the world, but they have some excellent wide receivers. Jonas Rutledge and Kevin Garrett were incredible, and deserve a healthy share of praise.
At the same time, Leroy Price and Matt Rushbrook were great in their first games as the SMU safeties. They both played like veterans, and made it look like the secondary will be a strength, not a concern, for the Mustangs.

I agree toatally! Kudo's to the defense. The goal line stand was awesome.

Re: Secondary
I think our secondary did a great job, exept for those 4 passes that KU dropped. If those had been caught, the game might have been different. I don't know where any of our defenders where when KU dropped those passes. It is a good thing they had slippery hands.
I noticed on the home page of PonyFans.com that there is a DMN article on Rushbrook, under "In the News."
