CONGRATULATIONS!

It's especially cool to see two SOPHOMORES named to the first team. But how is Justin Rogers only on the second team?

the great thing about this is.. say 4 or 5 of these guys live up to the hype then by the end of the season the team is guaranteed to have 1 or 2 other guys (mainly lineman) who are noticed by the writers..

obviously if a QB and a RB dominate there is a reason why they do.. OL

so if these guys live up to the hype, expect to see some more Lineman O and D getting accolades at the end of the season and hopefully Willis can turn into freshman of the year..

7 wins ='s bowl game and probably 9 mustangs getting post season accolades

assuming this happens.. When was the last time SMU had 9 guys getting post season awards? Hey Day

Of course not. This list was put together by a website that has nothing to do with the Belo Corporation -- there's no reason for them to run it. The DMN might put out its own list, and might run the results of the coaches' vote, but no way does it tout another media outlet's list. That would be like printing the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's list in the DMN -- they'd be afraid readers would go to the other site (and spend their money on other advertisers).

Of course they will! Congratulations to all of them.

I'll be very interested to see who the coaches choose as preseason all-conference guys.

At the end of the season, I'd like to see all of these guys recognized again by the coaches.
