Hey Ponies,
I just got back from UNT for a conference--you'd be surprised to see so many ads, small-banners, LED's... etc. advertising the UNT vs. SMU game. I'd just thought you would have liked to know...

Dude, what's wrong with hats that say "Beat Tech?" Seriously, we have hats that say "Beat UC Davis," "Beat Baylor," "Beat Utah," and so on... it's a way for our Bookstore, Barns & Noble, to make some extra cash.

I'm surprised all of you are surprised how much this game means to the Greenie Meanies. They've been waiting years for SMU to come to Denton. Oh sure they beat our Sophmore team in 1990 in Denton but other than that its been generations since they had the Ponies in the Little D. SMU better be prepared despite GoRedGoBlue's mathetical predictions. This is bad feeling they've had for at least 30 years.

Looking at the past games, it seems like the '90 game was the only time SMU has visited Denton.

You guys make good points on here, but there are other boards out there for you to hold your Tech/TCU arguments.

No doubt, we'll have to come ready to play or we'll leave embarrassed. We are not good enough to come to any game flat. If its any indication last year, we lost two games in which we were favored and only won one of them, and won four games in which we were the underdog.
