Post Game in Lubbock?

Postby PonySoprano » Thu Aug 31, 2006 8:48 am

For those of us that are going to be in Lubbock Saturday, anybody have any ideas about a good place for us Mustangs to gather for drinks, etc. after the game?

People I know that went to Tech say that the Depot District is now the restaurant/bar area, but I don't know much about Lubbock.

Will the Special Delivery mafia be making the trip?

for good mexican food and drinks you can go out to 82nd and to go Abuelo's, 50 yd. line steaks is good, but if you want to just go somewhere for a drink you should go to Cricket's on Broadway, 76 or so beers on tap...Its a great bar/grill, and its close to the stadium.

You have to figure the bars will be pretty vacant of Tech fans after the Mustangs pull off the shocker!

Cricket's and Mesquites are across the street from each other and Gardski's is about 2 blocks down...all on Broadway

Raplh-
Its easier to wash the sand out of your teeth with a few beers. Its the Tech fans who are picking their teeth.
