We all know about Bam Morris's issues, and Byron Hanspard's inability to go to class. Now there's this:
Reports: Dolphins RB Morris suspended four games
Associated Press
MIAMI -- Miami running back Sammy Morris will be suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the NFL's steroid policy, two newspapers reported Thursday night.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel and the Palm Beach Post, in stories posted on their Web sites after the Dolphins defeated St. Louis 29-9 in their preseason finale, both reported that Morris tested positive during the 2005 season for ephedrine, a banned stimulant.

I'm assuming Sammy Morris was a chemistry major, Bam Morris was an agriculture major, and Hanspard .... I guess you can't have a major if you don't go to class.

Bam was just stupid. He could have rushed for 10,000 or more yards in the NFL. That was just stupid on his part. He comes from a good family and his brother was an Academic All American WR at SMU.
Byron went to class right up until he decided to turn pro a few weeks before finals.
Sammy does frustrate me by this because he is the player who failed out and worked hard at a JUCO for two years to regain eligibility to play at Tech again.
I would think SMU would be the last place someone would be making fun of RBs not going to class. You can always see the Craig James thread for a visible SMU reminder.

yeah I think in High School he had very good grades at Cooper but that wasn't his reputation at SMU. People forget they had another brother who played at TCU-I think his name was J.C-maybe they were talking about him.

I think all these RB's are upset that the current Tech RB's don't get the ball and they are lashing out.
I miss Troy Matthews.

Yeah, Taurean Henderson only touched the ball 215 times, gained 1400 yards, and scored 22 touchdowns last year. He didn't get the ball much.
