Hoop, I must say that I completely and whole heartedly agree with you here. This game could not have been more of a must win just for self respect purposes.

Orsini strikes me as the type that doesn't put up with a lot of failure. If we start out 1 and 6 (assuming-big assumption-we beat Sam Houston) I could see Orsini making a change in the middle of the season. I'm not saying it's right, but I could see it happening. After all the talk about bowls etc. this is pretty disheartening.

For best results when we slit our wrists, we should cut longwise up and down the length of the veins to get a better blood flow.

Well, I made the correct decision, and went to Longview to see the Lobos
some how beat HasBennett's old Marshall team 38 - 35. Really great HS
game with 500 yards offense by Marshall, and lots of breakaway runs for
long TDs by the Lobos.
HasBennett Mustangs are ALL HYPE this year. With NO offense, I see an
0-12 coming on again.

Is it possible that we actually might go 0 for? Wake me up in November.

I was waiting to see what Bennett had to say on the post-game show on the Ticket. Does anyone other than me not buy their excuse that technical problems kept them from having Phil give us his thoughts?

nah, we will win three games at the end of the season and everybody will talk about how great we will be with all this momentum going into next year.

There's no QB and DeMyron was out. UNT's JUCO QB is better than anything the Ponies have to offer, at least due to lack of experience. I still think that SMU can win quite a few games if DeMyron isn't out too long and someone steps up at QB. Probably need to go the JUCO QB route again.
