I've been going to games since I was born. Don't give me the speech that I should to go to the games and cheer them on.

I was there last night, more disgusted than ever. Freakin Southlake Carroll could've beaten the "team" last night. Heck Highland Park could've beaten them last night.

If I needed a winner, I would've gone and cheered for Texas last year when they won the freakin National Title. Heck, I was offered to go down to Texas to watch the Ohio State vs Texas game yet I said no and went to the SMU game only to see us destoryed by North Texas. If I needed a winner, I wouldn't of stayed and gone to the games during the 0-12 season. Or during the 3-8 seasons.

The players should be humiliated. They played like total crap and just got run over by a team that had a 7 game losing streak going into the game. The deserve everything they get from losing this game.

Good luck in perfecting the perfect life with no mistakes and nothing but winning times. Get in the real world. I am old enough to be your grandfather and have followed SMU much longer than you and never have I once desired to humiliate a player. You go right ahead but paybacks are hell.

35: did you put a bag on your head during the Longview Lobos' lean years? C'mon, dude. You're a better guy than that. We're all disgusted by what happened in Denton. But putting a bag on your head is not the answer.

I say let him wear the bag, just make sure to laugh uproariously when he falls trying to walk down to his seat.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

I might pay but do I have to watch?

If the subject is money, I will remain a Mustang club member in order to support the program so it can improve. School loyalty does not mean punishing myself by watching someone louse up a good team with weak coaching. Maybe some fans enjoy seeing a car wreck, but not me.

No bags, please. Grow up. The choice is simple for SMU fans (as of 6:00 p.m. last night)--quit putting yourself through the painful experience of caring about SMU football, shut it down cold turkey and try to become indifferent as so, so many alums have done OR continue following the Mustangs, realizing that SMU will always be the underdog in the near future and expecting sloppy play and a loss every week. I, for one, can understand both decisions.

I have been to enough SMU games to know that Ford will be dead the rest of the year. I don't have an unlimited budget, so this pleasure trip was cancelled. We were gonna meet about 20 people from our class, and they didn't want to go anymore either.
