I have yet to get a response from ANYONE on the reason that Ryan Wolcott - who NEVER missed a PAT at Highland Park High School - has yet to see any PT in a Mustang uniform. Does anyone know the reason? My god...the grandson of Doak Walker...and he's on a scholarship, too. He could have made that PAT against UNT with his eyes closed.

Maybe he had a rotator cuff injury, that's what did Phillips in....

That would make him number 6 in the tight end rotation.

Maybe a special teams coach could teach the punter to stop catching the ball with his hands next to his body, which delays his punt. Maybe a special teams coach could teach the correct blocking assignments. Phil Bennett is the current special teams coach, any questions?

They are fixed by recruiting and success...but that's an entirely different Pandora's box. Rephrase for me exactly how from that you can draw a theory of fire all the coaches?
Apparently you do not have enough knowledge of the game to even warrant a response.

Yeah, I didn't think you could figure out what you meant either. But hey, tousche on the elementary response.

Actually, he's not. He oversees the drills, etc., because he's got to. But the way it's explained to me, the special teams are split among a few coaches (not sure which ones). One guy has the punt team, one guy has the kickoff team, etc.

He kicked off a 2" hockey puck tee in HS. He is unable to kick off the grass, as required in college, as effectively.
That's why. Get off Ryan.
"He could have made that PAT against UNT with his eyes closed." - not likely

Here's an idea....If you go to the SHSU game: get there early, enjoy the boulevard, actually go into the game, sing Varsity, clap to Peruna, watch as the Mustang Band forms the traditional Diamond M, sing Pony Battle Cry, and above all... cheer for the Mustangs.
That's right, crazy as it seems, cheer for the Mustangs. Don't yell at Bennett. Don't wail about how you're sick of this ****. Don't complain to the people in front of you who stand up at key moments in the game. Don't be drunk and beligerent. Cheer for the Mustangs. They need your support.
If you can't do that, don't come.

Phil Bennett make all the decisions even what soap to use in the locker room.
They are his coaches, his players and this is his schedule, this suff has been going on for 5 years, Phil Bennett is responsible. Not one player steps on the field whithout his approval. Maybe you need to get a new source.

Grow up and we will talk. Apparently you need to acquire an expanded vocabulary.

I'd just like to see him get an opportunity to play. As the Jewish woman said, who took chicken soup to the dead man at the funeral parlor, "It couldn't hurt!"
You say he is 'unable to kick off the grass...as effectively". Have you personally seen this?

Amen. I will be on the Boulevard bright and early, and will be in the stadium to cheer on the team Saturday night. Orsini has expressed confidence in Bennett's ability to get the job done; that should be enough to end the discussion. I hope to see you all on Saturday.
