So there you have it. Sitting in our home office listening to SMU football on the computer, watching the Gator game and enjoying an icy cold Bud Light. Hope to be at the Boulevard for at least one game this season.

Is Willis that much better than Slater? Did we have all second stringers in when Slater got in the game or did Bennett call off the dogs?

After 35-0 near halftime:
Wife: "I thought this was one you were worried about."
Me: "I worry about every game we play."
Wife: "But they're winning."
Me: "You don't really know me."

Already enough beers for the "You don't even know me" conversation?
Good luck with that!

The future looks bright in Gainesville with Tebow. By the way, Mrs. JP is from SlOcala. I have spent far too much time in that town.

Gators win. Noles lose. Imagine if Leak had Spurrier as his coach for 4 years.

We had a lot of second stringers in when Slater was in, and we were not trying to run the score up that much more either, but I just had a conversation with the person who does the stats for the radio crew and he said Willis completed 94% of his passes...an almost unheard of stat.

Slater will be an adequate back up, thats it. Willis brings a lot more to the table and has the opportunity to grow into being a very good SMU QB in my opinion. maybe even a great one, who knows.
