...Energy our team showed tonight. We did what we were supposed to do tonight against an inferior opponent. But I liked the enthusiasm, the desire to rebound.

It is only Sam Houston State but wasn't it nice to enjoy the feeling of flowing someone out?

Hopefully, they found their swagger. I think the important thing is that Willis could run the offense and feel comfortable.

And what about the catch Sanders made on the TD. He made up for last week's miss against UNT. You can see Columbus Givens starting to find himself.

Call this sunshine, but all of us needed to smile for a change in September.

And I thought I had lost my enthusiasm, I certainly did last week, but my SMU roots returned as I stood by my Sam Houston grad hubby, as he yelled for his BearKats, my ugly "don't mess with my Mustangs" attitude swelled up from wherever it had been hiding, and they didn't let me down tonight !

And I thought I had lost my enthusiasm, I certainly did last week

Amen to that.

As I said in a couple other post, totally different team it felt like that came out onto the field to face the Bearkats.

Hopefully that same team steps onto the field with the confidence now that they should've gotten out of this one against Arkansas State.
