"The Lone Star State QB with the highest passer rating is ... Texas' Colt McCoy? Nope. Houston's Kevin Kolb? Try again. TCU's Jeff Ballard? Not even close. It's the Mustangs' Justin Willis, a redshirt freshman from Dallas who threw four first-half TD passes in a 55-9 win over Arkansas State on Saturday. Willis' pass efficiency rating of 172.7 is the fifth-best mark in the nation."

At 78, SMU is ranked higher than 3 SEC teams, 2 Big 10 teams, and a Big 12 team.
