GRIPES

Postby BRStang » Sun Oct 01, 2006 9:34 pm

Let me preface this post by saying, "AWESOME GAME, MUSTANGS!!!" That was one of the most exciting games I've ever witnessed in person. I even converted a few diehard LSU fans into Pony fans. Thanks for the win and congrats!

Now, my gripes:

1) What the hell is wrong with [the majority of] our fans?? Would you scream a little bit if I put a boot up your @sses? I mean, c'mon. You guys need to get rowdy and show your team that you give a cr@p when they need a momentum builder. Not that it is any different at home in Ford, but most of the time last night, you could've hear crickets in the stands from our section. Stand up for your team, dammit!

2) Does Rusty Burns have any other play calls than: 1) Hand off up the middle; 2) 2-yard pass; or 3) Willis--just avoid the 3 linemen that are about to sack you and throw if you can, but if not run like hell...???

2) What's with the fat cheerleaders? Some had more rolls than a thanksgiving dinner and couldn't even move. A bit of an embarrassment, that's all I say.

Where were you sitting? We were up behind the band. Seemed pretty rowdy where we were. Much more so than Ford.

I was two sections over from where the band was sitting, about 6 rows from the field. You're right--Section 118 (band section) was more rowdy than the two sections to the right.

We have a few herfords, but man, watching on TV, Tulane needs to send their cheerleaders to fat camp...gross

not cute. these are old pics, I didn't see the fat roll girls - they must have been hibernating due to the hurricane last year.

Yeah, I didn't think Division I-A cheerleaders got any worse than SMU's, but WOW - Tulane has some nasty looking females. How embarrassing...

I feel badly for our "pom squad" or whatever they are, but some of them are just unfortunate, and I'm pretty sure they don't even realize it. Sadly, my girlfriend and her friends are always saying "if they want to wear those uniforms as cheerleaders, someone needs to tell them to 'suck it in'." It's really amazing seeing as how many HOT girls go to SMU.
GO MUSTANGS!

FIGHT ON!
