This year, we not only beat them, but in two of the three wins we beat them so badly that they quit on the field. We can only beat who we play, and for three straight weeks now -- and six of the last eight -- we've won. That's improvement, no matter how you look at it.

I believe its on record that SMU started to pay players in the Mid-to-Late 70's and continued its paying ways into the era of the mustang express until E.D. told the NCAA what was going on when he didnt get more money.
