2nd and 4, from the 26. Clock still hasn't even started according to the UTEP clock for whatever reason. Palmer alone in the backfield thros it..caught. First down UTEP at the 41 yard line.

1st and 10 from the UTEP 41 yard line. Flags....Going to be false start.

Clock still showing 15:00.

1st and 15 from the UTEP 36 yard line. Palmer runs it and he got close to another first down. Not a good start.

2nd and 3 from the UTEP 48 yard line. Clock has finally gone down to 13:53. Another false start for UTEP.

2nd and 8 from the UTEP 43 yard line. Gotta stop these guys with all these penalties early. Palmer back throws and he gets to the 50 yard line. About a yard short.

3rd and 1 from the 50 yard line. Hand off and he got it. First down to the SMU 46.

1st and 10 UTEP...From the SMU 46 yard line. Hand off and he got nothing..FUMBLE? No they called him down.

2nd and 9 UTEP...From the SMU 45 YL. Clock is stopped for something. Injury timeout I think? Either way, Palmer under center back...and SACKED! SMU sacks him at the 49 yard line.

3rd and 13 UTEP...From the SMU 49 YL. Huge early 3rd down. Come on Mustangs. Palmer back under center. Early movement. Did SMU make contact? I think they did. Yep. Offsides SMU.

3rd and 8 UTEP...From the SMU 44 YL. Palmer, once again, under center. Back to throw....throws it and wide open he caught it.

1st down UTEP.

1st and 10 UTEP from the SMU 28 YL. Palmer, hands off and gets about a 5 yard gain.

2nd and 5 UTEP from the SMU 23 YL. Palmer in the shot gun. SMU showing blitz.keeps it and he gets nothing. Good job by the SMU D.

3rd and 5 UTEP from the SMU 23 YL. And it's going to be a timeout UTEP.

9:36 to go in the 1st Quarter and UTEP uses their first timeout of the game.
