Excellent news. I mean seriously... if they are at this stage, well then, that means legal action might be averted... and if they can come out of this with some reasonable resolution... maybe J-Dub can be back with the team tonight. But more importantly -
This is the best way to work things out... remember the two parties might legally be adults, but in the end they are still kids... they need to move past this, each in their own way. But starting together - is more than just a symbolic way to heal the wounds. They each then, on their own, need to move past this... both have been hurt by this incident. It's time for them to move forward.
College is about learning - and not just in the classroom, (or on the football field), it's about learning to handle yourself and your emotions in a manner that befits adulthood.
My emotions don't often get the best of me anymore, but they sure did my first couple years in college....
