SBM, it's good to have more South Bay representation on the board. How is Torrance these days? I rarely made it down that far south. I usually stayed in Manhattan and Hermosa, but any place in the South Bay is greatness.

Can't say enough good things about the South Bay. Except SMU gets no media coverage (except a rare ESPN2 appearance). Maybe a 1 line blurb in the paper on Sundays. We used to get the SMU-Hawaii games on TV when they were in the WAC, but the cable stations here dont carry CSTV so it's hard to keep up.

Not buying it, is exactly the problem, none of us "can buy it" because it's not in the stores ! ! !

Give a specific example of something, please.

Again, take for example a trashcan (yes, I know I can get an SMU trashcan). Company X makes NCAA trashcans. Company X needs to sell 500 trashcans for it to be worthwhile. Company X knows it can sell more than 500 trashcans with UT or A&M on them. But if Company X doesn't think it can sell 500 trashcans with SMU on them, it isn't going to make them, license or no license. And thus they don't even produce them. How, other than SMU's inability to market itself, is that SMU's fault?

Now if you can show me something that is made for Rice, for example, that I can't get for SMU, then maybe you have a point.

ugh! The Blue Pony was awful. The contrast between Blue, White with the Red Pony for contrast was by far the most popular among both our fans and even our opponents.
