I'm eager to see Slater play. I've seen a few snaps from him in the early games, but I missed the UTEP game, where it sounds like he had a strong second half.

Good luck, Corey, and GO MUSTANGS!

I support all of our players but last week we were all upset about the absence of Justin Willis and now a lot of you guys hope he doesn't get on the field. He won the job outright before the incident and that is an indication he is the better quarterback. Therefore he needs to be on the field at the start of the game or at least after the first series.

famous guy, whats with all this hostililty. We want Willis to play but Slater deserves his just due. Willis will play and Slater will start.

Corey deserves to start because he did play well at UTEP and has practiced all week. Willis will go in after the first 2 or 3 series and I see him playing the rest of the game from there.

Nobody said he deserves to play the whole game, but Slater deserves to start, and while we're all glad Willis is back, Slater should stay in as long as he's playing well. If Slater struggles, then we have a hell of a backup waiting in the wings.

Go Slater! Go Willis!
