Sorry, in case anyone is confused, I'm discussing current events--

pre-med student getting arrested for trying to break up fight a couple of blocks from SMU.

B-U-T...

DMartin did NOT deserve the [deleted] the DPD put on him out in lower Greenville, either.

Anybody think Duke & Zach are paying for the demotion/relocation of a shi$$y Cop who got transferred for his actions against #8???

The DPD have had a rep since I was at SMU in the 70's. You didn't want to mess with them period. Back then the line was, well judge he was drunk and just fell down and hit his head on the pavement. So, if you meet a DPD officer show respect, keep you hands in clear view at your sides, palms open, and talk in a monotone. And for goodness sake, if they're arresting a friend of yours, just ask them where he or she is being booked so you can bail him or her out and walk away and observe. You can be a witness on their behalf at the trial. And don't touch any officer from behind, that's a really good way to get shot.

Must've been in response to Jerry Garcia calling them a "soft machine".
