ECU is NOT THE BETTER TEAM....Our SECONDARY didnt show up to ECU this week. They stayed in their dorms at SMU.
This secondary should feel like dog sh*t

Why worry about the running game.....when you can throw it against us like this? Our running game was pretty piss-poor today as well!

ECU is kicking our tails and they are not a very good team. CUSA is very average this year and I'm not sure how Tulsa got rated in the Top 25 after getting whipped by "maybe a little above average" looking BYU team. The fact is that CUSA has a lot of very average to below average teams in the overall scheme of I-A football. Today we got our tails kicked, but 3 of the last 4 games are at home so this team could still win 7 games if things bounce their way. For those who are still bowl hopeful, a 7-5 finish doesn't guarantee SMU and it's 150 traveling fans a bowl invite.

ECU sure looked like the better team out there today, and it wasn't just because of the SMU secondary. The Defense was flat all day, and the offense was pretty much owned after the half.
Its easy to say that we just came in slow, that we took the week off ect., but as far as I can tell ECU was simply better than we were. I just hope that we can put this one behind us and prepare for UAB. I don't want Willis second guessing himself out there after this game.

I wouldn't beat your pass D up to much. Pinkney threw for almost 3000 yards last year, and until the last game we were 11th in Pass offense. Last week was tough but we got back the best WR in CUSA Aundre Allison, and it showed this week. We just passed more than normal today.

no this is crap there is no way we should lose to ECU. How is it that we know they are going to throw the ball and yet we cant stop them from converting? What did ECU have a 1 yard rush average? This is BS!

We don't want your smack talk over here. You go enjoy your win and leave us to sulk. If you want us to give you a gold star for winning, we'll have to feed you to the shark.
