Doherty calls the Stangs!

Postby ALEX LIFESON » Thu Oct 26, 2006 7:04 pm

Coach Doherty said today that the team practices at 7:00pm every night for two hours. He said he would love to see some folks come by. He said if you get there before practice starts, he will greet you himself!

Great thing for him to do. Tubbs never did that I think.

Jimmy Tubbs came over and spoke to me every time I went to practice -- which was quite a lot!

I heard Jimmy Tubbs ate newborn baby seals, but it's possible that's just a rumor.

Some people have no clue what they are talking about. I went to several practices under Coach Tubbs and he always came over to say hi........and he didn’t know me from Adam.

Coach Tubbs was a good guy. . . but he learned from Dement . . .

Doherty's offense is getting good reviews from the players. Word is they have bought into it. Lot's of movement in that offense.

I would hope they have bought into it. He wasnt an NCAA championship because he was just "ok." They brought him into win and I would hope the players back him. I know for sure that the players didnt like Tubbs as much.
