From the sound of it, if hanging a UT flag outside is going to cost them all of your business, I think they should go ahead and paint over the mural, since you won't ever see it anyway.

No, they should donate the mural to Heritage Hall. The folks who visit that venue will appreciate it considerably more than those who traipse into utdelphia.

Found a new one for the Burger Crew, if they're willing to make a road trip. There's a new place in Plano called Red's (Preston Road, near Spring Valley). Brand new, and absolutely fantastic burgers.

For those who like margaritas, they claim to have over 100 kinds of tequila, too, including so "exclusive" that a single margarita costs .... $99! (How is that possible???)

I'll have to check out "Red's".

FYI: There's a restaurant in Santa Fe, NM called Maria's New Mexican Cantina and they have a menu of over 100 kinds of margaritas. Several of their margaritas cost more than $99. Aged tequila can be very expensive. Couple that with the altitude and you've got a combination for some FUN! :lol:

That is for the folks with more money than sense. Do you have any idea how many really good gin and tonics that would buy. Thanks, but no thanks.

Took your suggestion and tried it, and there's a real chance that the only burger I've ever had that's better comes off my own grill (and NO burger is better than that!) The burger at Red's was unbelievably good. I'm trying to keep the holiday eating down, sort of, and nearly ordered a second one. They're that good.

(Sorry, I didn't try the expensive margarita, or any margarita. That's up to the rest of you guys.)

Has anyone tried the Kobe Beef burger at Who's Who Burgers in Highland Park Village? The regular burger there is pretty good, but expensive, and I'm curious to know if there's a viable difference before I start selling blood to pay for lunch.

I'm in Vegas this weekend and I just saw and ad for the burger place at Mandalay...which has a burger with kobe beef and foie gras...another uber burger.

According to today's Yahoo poll Burger House received 5 out of 5 stars and was listed as one of the top burger joints in the country

Also, the first time I went to Louie's was my last time I willingly went to Campisi's. EVERYTHING at Louie's is greatness. Get the grilled chicken sometime in addition to heir pizzas. The salads at Campisi's are made with wilted Iceberg. Campisi's is the most overrated place in town.
