jtstang,

We can easily find a small bayou to light on fire in Houston. The kiddo will love it and you can then go to the Rice game.

If you get close enough to the refineries, you can probably light the bayou on fire with just one match.

When I was a news reporter in Houston, I covered a fire on the San Jacinto River. Yes, it was ON the San Jacinto River. That mother burned for two days.

There is a huge band of grass on each side of the stadium that separates the stadium from the parking lot. It's great for tents, but when we get a lot of rain its soggy. In 2002 it rained for a few days leading up to the game. After a while the chairs started to sink in the mud. I am a builder, so I quickly got as much plywood from one of the houses I was constructing and formed "safe" paths for people to navigate in the tent. Despite the mud, it was a success.

It's pretty dry down here, so I don't think there will be a problem. I will post the e-invitation as soon as I get it.
