Total is 54.5
This is the official line. I know this was posted on another thread. But this is for easy access so everybody isn't digging around looking for it.

Isn't this about the same line as we had for the Tulsa game? The big difference is home vs. away.

No sure I could take another first half like the last one but if we have the same second half results I guess that would be OK.
Go Ponies!! Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad

It is real simple. Combine the Houston first half with the Tulsa second half and sit back and wait for the bowl bid. Other way around and start checking the TV schedule for what to watch.

And please, please, please do not include either half from the NTSU game. Or the second half of the Tulane game. Or either half off the ECU game. Bottom line put it all together for both halves. For the players, I can assure you a bowl is well worth the effort.

Can anyone give a prediction as far as attendance at this game? Rice's stadium holds 70,000. How full (or not) will it get on Saturday?
Seeing as we play poorly on the road, will this environment be any more difficult than other comparable away games?
GO MUSTANGS!
FIGHT ON!

17-18k. I really don't see the game breaking into the 20k range, but who knows.

Hopefully it will capture the imagination of some fans kinda of like when Rice and SMU actually sold out-or close to it - Moody for a Championship Showdown BB Game in 1991. I was surprised at the walk-up for that game-surely there are some long suffering Rice and SMU fans that will swell the crowd to at least 20,000.

I sat in the top row of the entire arena for that game! Getting downstairs for interviews was rough....

Rice had an announced attendance of 12,700 for their homecoming game on Saturday. The likelihood of even getting to 15,000 is remote.

In that big of a stadium, the difference between 15k and 20k will not look or sound any different.
How many alums in Houston? You have to figure that Houston is home to the second biggest alum group (behind Dallas) because of its sheer size. I think less than 20k because of the holiday.

Hope to see some people in the seats at the game. College games are a hell of a lot cheaper than paying to see the pro games. I will be there with 2 more people to pull for the Mustangs.

Also, Rice took down on side of seats in the stadium and renovated it..
I think its about 50,000 now with a new scoreboard/jumotron?! Correct me if I am wrong.

Probably around 12-15K. It's Thanksgiving weekend, and neither team is known for drawing a crowd.
