Vision please. We can not get more than 13,000 in Dallas for a home game. I am trying to promote exposure to the team to those who are not attending now. Invite the frisbee throwers and picnicers to set up on the field and watch an away game on the big screen. A little cold beer and some pregame and post game tunes on the speakers. There is a marketing aspect to be done here. I am sorry that my sorry [deleted] can not make it to Houston so I can partake of your gracious hospitality.

No way should SMU make it easy for people to sit on their [deleted] and watch this in Dallas. Get off your [deleted] and go to Houston. If we are a bowl team our fans need to start acting like it.

I'm afraid I'll be in Nashville this weekend. However, I've offered to relegate myself to the hotel and be responsible for naptime for the younger children on Saturday, preferably between 2 and 5pm.

That being said, it does look like SMU will have a good showing in Houston. I'm sure everyone else got the email saying that the Alumni/Parents/Friends gathering had to be moved to a bigger location due to overwhelming response.

Perhaps SMU will have nearly the same as Rice at the game.

I have a newborn, so I am not sure that I can get out to Houston for the game. That is why I was looking into setting something up here. I would rather be somewhere other than in my house watchign the game on TV. I wish I could go to Houston though, I would rather be at the game.

That was sunshine and optomism in your own special way, Stallion. I for one am slightly touched.

I think ArkPony is working on some plans that may include Houston and the Rice game.

Let's hope.
