We'll see!! You guys have no idea how much I wanted to attend.. unfortunately I'm penniless and I can't convince a soul to drive to Houston with me to see an SMU game, so we better win and get to a bowl so I have a chance to see SMU play this year!

They only upgraded SOME of the benches to the aluminum ones. Looks like the ones in the upper deck are still wooden and rotting by the day. Then again I guess there was no point upgrading seats that no one was going to be sitting on anyway.

We won't need stadium improvements anyway because we will be standing, cheering, and dancing the whole game!

Nope. All of 'em. At least the ones they didn't remove entirely. They pulled 23k seats out of the endzones.

Anyone else notice how miserable the girl looks as she is being told she has to go to Rice?

I have seen my fair share of "King of the Hill" episodes but don't recall that one specifically, obviously it has to do with Connie's college choice. Is that photo shopped or was Rice actually in the show?
I would not have thought so, but since they live in Texas, its possible.

Actually, Minh and Khan give Connie the shirt before she's heard from Rice (summer camp for gifted/talented). She ends up not getting in because as an Asian who's super smart, plays an instrument, volunteers, and speaks another language, she doesn't stand out.
Minh and Khan give up on everything, buy an El Camino and become rednecks (hanging out with characters played by Trace Adkins and Tom Petty). It ends up being this hardship that helps get Connie into Stanford's summer program.
Here's the episode summary:

SMU's connection to King of the Hill is when Hank mentions that he would like to hire the SMU groundskeeper for Arlen High

As of Monday afternoon there were over 300 rsvp's, with the majority from from the Houston area. From all the talk I am hearing, I will be be shocked if we don't have at least 1000 there. We need to be salepeople this week and call, email, and badger everyone we can to go to Rice!
