I'm sure you don't care because you hate TCU and everybody that went there, etc., etc....
Music to my ears!!
I guess you've succeeded in running off a guy who would actually attend your games and support your school. And you wonder why you have attendance problems? A lot of folks on this board have known me for a few years now and I've been to SMU games to support SMU in the past(not when they are playing TCU). I think I'm about done with it.
I'm sorry you feel that way. You shouldn't let my opinion override your relationship with other SMU alums. If you want to support us, that's up to you. Your SMU friends will glad to have you on board.
You can write me off as some guy who doesn't represent what most SMU fans think.
But my source of anger with TCU was the vicious behavior I encountered from 1999-2004 with the football series and the domination you all had in the bb series. It would be one to win with integrity, but those who supported the purple in my parts were just not very sporting about it.
Perhaps I need to dial down on the anger and let it ride. But I cannot hide my feelings when it comes to this. I'll admit I probably need to grow up -- altogether, now (A LOT!!) -- and shut down the talk.
I want this rivalry to be what it was. We'll see. I hope you stay on the board for your friend's sake. Do it for them.
But to all of you SMU alums, know this. This will be the last time I write anything negative about TCU -- again. I have learned my lesson.
