I got one of those at a basketball game in 2000 (give or take a year). I have no idea if they were new then or not, and honestly I don't remember if mine has the Frost Bank logo on it.

John Roderick aka track star converted to tailback, and later split
end reciever against Rice in 63.

Mac White on a patented roll out against Texas in 63. I believe they
were highly ranked, but we gave them a SCARE 12 - 17

See great recent post Memory Lane - 43 years ago today
below all the Willis posts giving the DMN account of their great
victory in 63 against #4, and later #2 Navy led by Jolly Roger
Staubach.

Texas won the National Championship in 1963 behind Tommy Nobis. Beat Navy in the Cotton Bowl as SMU did earlier in the year.

#29 Eric Dickerson Running Back 6'-3" - 220 lbs. Sealy, TX SMU
PROFESSIONAL CAREER: Eric Dickerson was selected by the Los Angeles Rams as the second overall pick in the first round of the NFL Draft (behind John Elway) and signed with the team on July 12, 1983. (Eric was also selected by the Arizona Wranglers in the 1st round of the 1983 USFL Draft - sixth player overall). After a stellar career with the Rams, Eric was traded to the Indianapolis Colts on October 31, 1987 in a blockbuster deal involving the Rams and the Buffalo Bills. The Rams received the Colts' first and second round picks in the 1988 draft, the Colts' second pick in the 1989 draft and RB Owen Gill, along with Buffalo's first pick in the 1988 draft, Buffalo's first and second picks in the 1989 draft and RB Greg Bell. The Colts traded rights to LB Cornelius Bennett to Buffalo. At Indy, Dickerson became the first Colts running back to lead the league in rushing (1,659 yards - 1988) since Alan Ameche did it in 1955. Eric was later traded to the Los Angeles Raiders on April 26, 1992 for fourth and eighth round picks in the 1992 draft. There, Dickerson shared the backfield with another one of the all-time great running backs, Marcus Allen. After a one-year stint in L.A., Dickerson was obtained by the Atlanta Falcons on July 7, 1993 for a conditional sixth round pick in the 1994 draft. After only playing in four of the first five games for Atlanta, Eric was dealt to the Green Bay Packers on October 12, 1993 for RB John Stephens, but failed his physical and was returned to Atlanta on October 15, 1993. Ever conscious of his health and physical well-being, Eric Dickerson announced his retirement on October 20, 1993 bringing an end to one of the greatest careers of any running back to ever play in the National Football League. For me, there never was, nor will there ever be, another back so graceful with such explosive speed and acceleration as Eric Dickerson. Man, I loved to watch him run.

Many of the pictures you will see here are from my personal collection, but not all. Also, I have taken much of the text for this website from other books and magazine articles written about Eric Dickerson - especially On the Run written by Eric Dickerson with Steve Dehlson. This book is out of print, so I hope that the authors don't mind me "borrowing" stories from it to pass on to those of you visiting here.

Enjoy the site - (still under construction!) - Keep watching for updates!
