Thought seriously about making the trip to Norman but decided it is a little too much travel for a mid-week non-conference game. Will try to catch it on TV if there is a game watching party somewhere. We play at home on Saturday.

Maybe a vote or two, but we won't be in the top 25 with a win over OU. I don't think they're even getting any votes at the moment.
It would certainly look nice on the resume come March though...

Coming up from Houston for the game along with 2 or 3 other alums up in Dallas. How far from Dallas to Norman? 2.5 hoursish?
For those that are coming be sure to wear your SMU gear. Go Ponies!

Dallas to Norman is 3 hours. I get to make this drive twice a year. Directions are easy. Go north on 35 for 189 miles then turn right. Can't miss it.
Just send 'da money.

Nope. Big 12 road win, 10-1 record, we're in. Mark it down.

We can not make the top 25 until we limit our turnovers to under 25.

Mr. Pony. You are very wrong. We will not be in the top 25. mark it down. I don't even feel that I need to explain myself, we may get a few votes but no top 25...unless we win by 100

Dayton has been getting a few votes for a couple of weeks already so if we do win at OU (And that is a big if), then we should get some votes.

It's certainly possible we'll get a few votes if we win, but you have to wonder from who? It's doubtful they'll come from anyone but the DMN. Most of the rest of the country/voters may not even notice the victory.
I think to get multiple votes from multiple writers, we'll need to stretch the record out to a more "eye-popping" number - something like 14-1 or 15-1.
