all in all, a nice injection of reality. we simply cannot compete with legit teams, oklahoma is like semi-legit too, which is scary

Hopefully Doh will make some progress with recruiting. I'm still looking forward to see what he can do over the next few years.
Doh fever still in full effect...

64-38, ouch. Yes, outrebounded almost every trip....hardly any second chances and if they did get them, they were missed. Much too physical for us. Shooting 28% will not win against anyone. Pathetic. I feel sorry for Alex Life...
At least the Mavs are looking strong right now.

Even though we are getting killed tonight, I am still excited about the rest of the season. For the first time in years, there is real hope in basketball. I feel like this team is only going to get better. So many years we have seen SMU get off to a good start and then fade down the stretch. I don't think Matt Doherty will let that happen this year.

Hey, they have lost like 3 games in the past 39 at home. This was going to be a longshot at best. I am not pleased with the effort but I think we grow a little from the loss. I am CERTAIN Doh will use this game to teach our boys.

Yeah it is on the road, against a better team, but it didn't have to be this bad. Ouch.

I am disappointed in Roberts and Pearson who I thought as freshman would be a little better by now in scoring.

We can't have Bamba Fall not score any points and Ike has got
to score. Roberts was 1 for 7. Dez didn't score either. I could
only watch the running stats, so I didn't see why we shot around
27%.
Missed several point blank shots and layups.
How many turnovers did we have?
Is Oklahoma that much larger than we, that we didn't get our normal
margin of rebounds?
This team will get better and they are right where I predicted they
would be at 9-2. My prediction is still that they will win 20+ games
this year.

Disappointed in all aspects of the game, and I agree PF, Pearson and Roberts have really fallen off the charts - based upon potential. It simply looked as if we were intimidated. And poor Alex, he ...should be about 30 minutes from the Red River by now (assuming he left at the 10:00 mark of the 2nd).

Yea but for once we have a top 25 class. Don't listen to Stallion. He has been right about football but knows nothing about basketball. For that I turn to Pony_fan.
