OU game threadModerators: PonyPride, SmooPower Someone asked about turnovers. They were much fewer, but the game was out of reach so quickly that OU did not have to pressure. We need much better ball handling if we want to improve. The point guard Stallion mentioned is a must, and someone that can score would certainly help also.
Wasn't slamming anything....just asking when is "next year" finally going to be here to enjoy some success in football and basketball. After almost 20 years of futility in both sports.....hearing the phrase "wait until next year" doesn't mean much.

Rack was not included in that quote. Just wanted to clear that up so Doherty wouldn't sound insane.
Pony Snob-here's when SMU will have truly competitive programs. Count to 3 or 4 after SMU starts a string of quality recruiting classes. In Basketball you might nock off a year if the Class is loaded. The only time that has happened in SMU History since the DP is with Dement's solid early Basketball recruiting which resulted in some success that could have been really exciting if he had been allowed to recruit a big man transfer or so. Its not done with pixie dust.
