All Access ???

Postby mrydel » Sat Mar 03, 2007 9:50 am

Has All Access been available for the last mens and womens games? It is telling me I have to pay additional but now I think that they have cut off my service. I was refunded a month's fee after complaining about previous problems but I had paid for a one year subscription. I am beginning to think they refunded me, thought I was on month to month and are giving me the option to rejoin. I am emailing them about this but am curious as to whether or not the last 2 games have been available for no additional charge to the regular viewers. Thanks in advance.

I got my response from CSTV and they said that the last men's game (Tulsa) and the women's tourney were PPV calling for an additional charge. I can understand the tourney, but why in the world would SMU/Tulsa at Moody be a PPV game? There was no meaning to the game and neither team was setting the world on fire or vying for a NCAA Tourney spot. Some things in life just amaze me. If anyone actually paid additonal money to watch that game, I have some personal investments for them.

Grade for All Access:
2005-2006: A-
2006-2007 D+

I'm wondering how they can justify the fees for that service based on the pathetic performance this year. Sell your stock.

I tend to agree. I was just informed that the decision for PPV was made by CSTV with consultation and approval by SMU. Not good marketing by either group.

I just noticed that the Memphis game is also PPV. So that means I got sucked into buying a membership and then they make me pay to see the games. This solidifies my adios for next year. What a bait and switch operation by both CSTV and SMU. They could have put this into play next football season with proper notice had they wanted to but to start the policy in the midst of the basketball season is wrong, unethical and probably in violation of the original contract but I would need for one of you attornies to answer that question. What a bunch of maroons.
