NOT ANOTHER CHANGE!!
THIS IS A JOKE!!!
WHY CAN'T WE JUST STAY WITH OUR 'SCHOOL' COLORS?
UNIS WILL NOT HELP US WIN!!!
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

It's not a joke. It's true.
See Roach's post on the recruiting board - he's right.
Hope you're right about the royal blue - the Mike Romo-era unis were the best.
Hoops looked better then, too.
I bet this is a result of switching to a different uniform manufacturer. Just a guess.

Why would that be marketing's call? If that's the case, wouldn't some marketer at A&M or Oregon or Virginia Tech make those schools lose those hideous threads they have?
Whatever the reason, and whoever made the decision, it's long overdue. Those royal blue jerseys with the white helmets were the best ever.

Also need to lose all the piping and curvy side panels. Letters and Numbers on the jerseys, solid stripes down the pants. Done.
And please none of this (link) or this (link) type of thing.

Really? What makes you say that? ponyplayer tends to be pretty reliable, as memory serves.
No danger there (on that Oregon look) - I hear adidas will replace Nike.

Man, I hope this is true.....
Please go back to Blue jerseys, white helmets and white pants with the road unis being all white....That is the SMU I remember from 70s, 80s, and 90s...even if we did suck for many of those years the team look at least had an identity.

I thought Oregon's uniforms were so whacked out because the head Nike dude is a UO grad, and he had all the hundreds of uniform combinations created especially for them. I do think it is all a marketing ploy - any press they can get up there in Eugene for their program will suffice for them at this point.
BTW, I think SMU's current uniforms are sharp. The old-school ones were boring and kinda lame.
