$4.50??? I was cheated when I paid $5 from the Harris County library. For some reason it had never been checked out.

Yeah, for some morbid reason, I read it again about a year ago, and I got in an elevator with Sherwood Blunt the very next day. Kind of surreal moment.

That's because it's not entirely accurate. In fact, quite low on the scale.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

I just have to ask.. Why would he go through all that trouble of writing a book and not be as accurate as possible? please tell me what was inaccurate... I am fascinated by the scandal..

Me too. I'd love to know the flaws. One day I hope to make a movie/mini-series about the events.
And thanks Stlhockeyguy02 .... I just might have to put in a bid! I checked it out from the SMU library a few years back. I think I was the first person to check it out in more than a decade.

Some guy named Ochs did a documentary about five years ago on the subject and entered it in the Dallas Video Festival. He was a student.
Afterward he said he'd be glad to send me a copy, then vanished from the face of the earth. (I didn't ask, he just offered.)
I think it was called, "Life After Death" or something like that, and it featured interviews with Dale Hansen, Forrest Gregg, maybe Randy Galloway and lots of game footage.
Pretty gut-wrenching when Gregg says he'd seen lots of things in his life, but one thing he never, ever thought he'd see was the breakup of the SWC.
