Southern Miss Gets 4 Star BCS LSU Transfer FB

Steve Korte-the No. 4 FB in the country in his Senior Year. More BCS trnsfers reportedly heading to USM too.

He had grade troubles and couldn't stay eligible at LSU from what I hear.

Southern Miss has always been know as the school good players went when they couldn't get in anywhere else. They have next to no academic standards. It has been that way since the 60's.

It seems to have worked well for them. They have been far and away the best team in the short history of CUSA. How old is the league now? 12 years?
