TCUs Blake leaves team

don't know if this has been posted yet but heard on ch. 8 news that TCUs top DE left the team...no reasons have been named.

Rumors. My gosh. :roll:

Like I said before, there's more to the story than the Star Telegram said -- they made it sound like he was AWOL. He's not; he requested a leave of absence, for undisclosed reasons to the public, and it was excused. He's had some tough things happen in his life recently, and we'll leave it at that.

Right now he just needs to take some time out with his family, specifically his guardian grandmother, pray and think things over. Personally, I think he'll be back on Monday ... and he'll be stronger than ever. But we'll leave that up to him, his grandmother, G-Pat, and God.

Any updates on this dude?
I hope he's OK, and everything, but it wouldn't kill me if he ponders his next move for a month or so.

He will be back on Monday.

Good. I mean, I hope he quits football, or transfers to a Div. 6 school in southwestern North Dakota, but I'm glad he's OK ... I think.

If indeed he is back Monday, you would think that it was some type of family emergency that had to be resolved. I hope for his sake it is.
