At the scrimmage, did the run our favorite play during field goals?

No......but it is certainly in the Rusty Burns playbook - perhaps that is why Bennett put the big tarp all around the practice field.....he wants it to be a suprise this year!

3. Coach Burns has coached very productive offenses as his players have matured within his system. Last year, our offense got a lot more productive, and there's no reason to believe that production won't continue to improve this year.

Except for when we needed to go 3 feet in at least 3 tries... twice. Then it was probably the least productive offense I've ever seen. You don't start the RB 5 yards behind the line when you are on the 1. You don't try and run around the outside when you are on the 1 without some sort of trickery.

That was precisely my thoughts. Statue of Liberty play worked like a charm.
