will finally quit doing is all this TALK like "we can make a statement" BEFORE Tech or " We can win" before A&M a few years ago. They need to just prepare the team and install confidence in the preparation. All that other talk means nothing when you get your [deleted] kicked.........I dought Appalachian State's Coach was bragging about beating Michigan before the game. Win than you can talk.

Coaches say the darnest things. In the fall of 1976, an unranked SMU was about to depart to play Bear Bryant's Crimson Tide in Birmingham. Meyers made the comment that any player that didn't believe SMU could beat Alabama, should not get on the plane. All the SMU travel squad players boarded the plane and low and behold, at the end of the first quarter SMU was beating Bear and Bama 3-0. Unfortunately for SMU, Bama won that nail-biter by a score of 56-3.
