His opponent's offenses apparently play the same way too.

Not true....I would say about a third of the Navy team comes from Texas. They recruit aggressively in our state.

27 of 150 players on the Navy roster (18%) are from Texas. Not sure how many of those made the active roster.

And there is probably at least another 20 players from Texas at NAPS - Naval Academy Prep School. The man is a winnner!
Some of the best players come via the NAPS pipeline.

Alex, have you seen this 10 million or is it just another rumor like all the coaching rumors. The coach coming to SMU will not be a wow moment for anyone. And explain to me how Orsini can just come in and raise 10 million for a HC when it has not happened in the last 18 years? Orsini may have 1.5 mill to pay a HC. As bad as we are, do you think the Univeristy would allow such payments to a HFC? A possible 5 year contract at 2 mill a year? That is BCS money.

The 10 million is for the entire staff from what I understand. Not just the HC.

May also include some buy out money.

Does that mean if we hire Paul Johnson we will need to create a SMU Prep School so he can stash recruits there for a year and let them get their academics in order? That's one hell of a recruiting pitch "sign with us, but first you need to go to a prep school, which is like another year of high school - good luck!"
"It'd be nice to see Jesse Henderson break one here."

Thats a great idea. Then we could get the team to play UIL 5A to face the great Jesuit HS, Southlake, Carroll, Carter....Anyone willing to venture how we would fare?

This would work. Send 'em to MMA in Harlingen. Get back a bunch of disciplined men. Someone on here said Hellestrae went there. Thats a great idea. Then we could get the team to play UIL 5A to face the great Jesuit HS, Southlake, Carroll, Carter....Anyone willing to venture how we would fare?
