Talked briefly with Houston Nutt

In Fayetteville, Ark. to spend Thanksgiving. Went the Arkansas women's bb game. Nutt's daughter is on the team.

He came into Bud Walton midway through the second half. Said hello and wished him luck Friday against LSU. On purpose, I wore my SMU pullover jacket.

He saw it and quickly jerked his head to keep eye contact with me.

Nothing major but thought the masses would be amused by this. And again, Sunshine Pony is likely right that he will not be our next coach.

But I found the irony in all of this.

Way to go General! I'm with you 100% on Nutt. I can't tell if you're joking though. I hope you're right!!!!!! Do you have any hard evidence on Nutt?

All I write are the facts. So what you are reading is what I did. The weather here in Fayetteville is beautiful.

But Whitney, he won't be our next coach. Again, I just thought you all would like to read up on this since his name has been connected to our job.
