Watching Dayton Game in Dallas?

Postby Milo Butterfinger » Wed Nov 21, 2007 11:34 am

I know I can watch via the free CSTV feed but is there anyway to watch this game on a big screen short of renting a projector anywhere in Dallas? I don't think there's any other regular tv coverage but I could be wrong.

I have company - some from Ohio who are Dayton fans, others SMU grads who want to watch. It would be a bit tight if we're all huddled on one couch trying to watch.

Maybe there's a bar that I can bring my laptop and we can project it somehow?

Let me know if anyone has any suggestions. Thank you.

Don't think I can help. In my days, the words "bar" and "laptop" in the same sentence meant different things than you are requesting.

You can try calling Pluckers to ask them. I know they have done similar things before...big SMU fans! The lcd directly over the bar has a laptop connection that they use for trivia on Wednesday nights. If you find out before I do, please let me know. I might be interested in watching it as well.

Guessing lunch time isn't the best time to call. I could definitely get a nice group of Dayton and SMU fans together for it, if we can make it happen. Let me know if you have any luck and I will possibly try them later. I think we can bring in a group of 10-12 people.

Try the Fox and Hound off of Skillman and LBJ. I know they TV'd SMU Football games. The owner/manager's father is an SMU Grad. I have been there to watch football away games.
