The announcers said during the game that they are the only team that mentions a rival in their fight song. If they weren't so fixated on TU they would likely have moved their program forward at least a little in the last 25 years.

I agree that it is pathetic, but it is mostly because I despise a$m. Sadly, they are not the only ones. The announcers were wrong:

Also, there is an unofficial lyric in "Bow Down to Washington" which calls for a cheer of "F*** Wazzou" that gets sung at every game, and most loudly at the Apple Cup.
