Did Brad Sham Drop a Hint?

Postby Stallion » Sun Nov 25, 2007 1:57 pm

during the game he mentioned having dinner with Kyle Rote Jr and I believe Jimmy Sexton. See article about Jimmy Sexton and his clients below. Does Sexton live in Memphis? What was he doing there

Jimmy lives in Memphis, in fact, in my neighborhood...nice guy. Kyle Rote is also a Memphian...both in the sports management biz, specializing in representing coaches.

I think Brad had dinner with Sexton more because of his role as a play by play guy for the premier NFL franchise and that it's good to have your finger on the pulse of the guy representing so many coaches.

Besides Nutt, Sexton represents

Parcells (another reason Sham might know him)
Nick Saban
Tommy Tuberville
Steve Spurrier
Larry Coker
Frank Beamer

Slightly off the topic of this thread, though...consistent with what another poster on another thread suggested, I believe Kate knows something, and I believe she's been told to keep her mouth shut. Just a hunch surmised from a couple of things.

Has she even written one article about potential coaching prospects? I don't recall seeing one, but I don't subscribe.
