D.C. to the hilltop?

Postby Diamond Girl » Sun Nov 25, 2007 12:27 pm

At Bailey's last night, I ran into Darth. He mentioned he'd heard another name mentioned as a possible head coach candidate, and I told him I'd heard the same - Dave Campo. Orsini and Cowboys connections, etc.

Maybe its Mike Ditka. He also has been a head coach and has Cowboy connections!

I ran into a couple of Pony Fans last night at Fox and Hound, where I watched the game (five hours+ is tough on the liver...)....they had been to the Libery Bowl on Saturday and the word is BCS Head Coach, Orsini connection / bud, still was coaching, ie: had one more game or a bowl game left to play??, announcement might still be 10-15 days off...Orsini has "his guy" but is being very tight lipped about the whole process....I say we don't have a guy and we are scrambling.....with Baylor / Ole [deleted] / Nebraska / A$M / ________ I think a bunch of our candidates are waiting...only time will tell. Bottom line, nobody on this board knows anything, including the great FtT...as someone said, chill, we will know soon. Long Live Hayden Fry.

Hey Darth never said DC 8)

Darth says that Steve-O will use his Cowboy connection. Someone else must have told you DC's name.

Dave Wannstedt has had a couple of gr8 recruiting classes at Pitt. Don't see him leaving though.

How much does he make coaching arena league? Wouldn't be a bad choice.
