Come to think of it, the band has only been to 1 women's game so far this year. So much for "The Hub of SMU Spirit."
The band's support for the women's program has been outstanding for the last 10 years. I imagine it will be so again when school is in session, I expect to see a full contingent on Wednesday evening. It would have been good to have them at the tournament, but I will not criticize, because their support has been consistently strong for a long time.

Nell is 14 away from moving into 3rd all time, she should pass that this Wednesday against SFA.
"Nell"? Nickname? Are you related?
I agree...within the past 10 years, the band's support for the women's program has been outstanding. I was part of that. However, it is a different band than it was a couple of years ago.

Maybe they were trying to fine tune another Fiddler on the Roof halftime routine for 2008? That's pathetic they weren't there for that, even though it was Thanksgiving weekend.

Hey, mix in a look at the WBB schedule and see who could come over and play or is that asking too much. The band should be ashamed of itself.

Thinking back again, I believe the band at the TCU game was an alumni band, with some students mixed in. That would mean the regular band hasn't made 1 women's game this year.
